Over 600 costumed participants, 90 street performers, historical reenactments, equestrian shows, battles, falconers, artisan workshops, and guided tours: three days of pure magic for those who love history, culture, and the atmosphere of times gone by.

A program full of events for all ages

The festival opens on Friday, April 11 with the evocative “Ancient and Medieval Book Fair” and an exhibition of precious manuscripts, then comes alive with music, markets, and tastings. Saturday is the day of the grand historical procession that will wind through the center to the Basilica of Sant’Andrea, the heart of the medieval village set up for the occasion.

On Sunday, April 13, the reenactment culminates with a Gregorian Latin mass, a pitched battle with siege engines, and the unmissable fire show that will close the festival.
