On Tuesday, May 13, 2025, don’t miss the chance to take part in a unique experience: the itinerant Night Treks, an evening walk through nature, silence, and landscapes illuminated by the full moon. A different and fascinating way to explore the Vercelli area and rediscover its beauty in a completely new light.
A simple route suitable for everyone
The route covers about 5 km along dirt roads, farm tracks, and flat paths, perfect even for those with only a basic level of fitness. You will walk in small groups, accompanied by a certified environmental hiking guide and cycle tour guides recognized by the Piedmont Region.
The experience is designed for those who love walking, but also for those who want to try trekking in a relaxed and atmospheric way.
Meeting at Hotel Matteotti: the adventure’s starting point
The meeting is set for 7:30 PM at Hotel Matteotti, at Corso Matteotti 35 in Vercelli. Here you will be welcomed by the organizing team, receive all the information about the route, and get to know the other participants. We set off at around 8:00 PM, ready to experience the charm of trekking in Vercelli by night.
What to bring for the evening trek
To participate, you will need:
- a headlamp (mandatory)
- hiking or trail running shoes
- clothing suitable for the season
- at least 500 ml of water
- a rain cape or jacket, in case of bad weather
The route is accessible, but it is important to have the minimum equipment to face the evening safely and enjoy the experience to the fullest.
A tasty return… to the Pantheon!
Return is scheduled for around 10:00 PM. For those who wish to continue the evening together, it will be possible to have dinner at the Ristorante Pizzeria al Pantheon, also located on Corso Matteotti, just a few steps from the hotel. A perfect opportunity to share impressions and enjoy typical Vercelli dishes.
Cost and booking
Participation costs €10 per person. Booking is mandatory at least 48 hours before the event, with a minimum of 6 participants.

- GEA environmental hiking guide
- certified cycle tour accompaniment
- third-party liability insurance coverage
- technical assistance during the route
Please note: accident insurance, refreshments, and additional services are not included. In case of bad weather or unfavorable conditions, the excursion will be canceled or rescheduled. A flexible cancellation policy is in place.
